User Reviews for Sucralfate to treat Stomatitis
Also known as: Carafate
“Took my chest and back pain away which were INTENSE from the GERD. However, I was barely able to stand up and walk to and from the bathroom by day 4 without feeling dizzy and nauseas. I felt forgetful and the vertigo was becoming debilitating. I do not recommend this for anything other than treating be actual ulcer if and when it’s diagnosed through an upper GI series.”
“I am taking liquid Carafate (2 tsp 4x daily) for severe gastritis mostly brought on from stress. I felt immediate relief after first day. For me however, I eat a “brat” diet while on Carafate which is bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. Bland diet. Pain gone. Stomach healing. Thanks to who ever invented this.”

“Started taking carafate three days ago for gastritis been having headaches, backaches, allergy eyes itching, ears and throat itching. Today after the second dose I experienced acid reflux that left my throat and tongue raw. Not sure what to do here.”
